JAPANESE MOULDING DRESS

For this short bi-material dress with many cutouts and an opening with zipper on the back, here we will use a Japanese 3D molding technique.
This new technique consists in giving the volume of the breast without having clamps. So I applied this technique on a short dress.
I started by designing the model that I wanted according to the constraints to apply this method which is to put the cutouts that go around spending between (chest, waist, back ...).
To start, mold the canvas on the wooden mannequin, in order to have a base and then place the ribbon of all the cutouts of the model.
Point and cut on the table then on your flat pattern stepped on the rounded edges given for the breast volume.
Trace the pattern on paper. Cut on the final fabric with the stitching values.
For rounding pronounce to pass a gathered thread on the rounding and loosen the thread by ironing to obtain the volume that corresponds to the assembly.
